OCT 15 2007: BLOG ACTION FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

I ask you my dear friends, what can we do to help our environment?
I think I can help by not adding to its destruction.

I pledge to do what I can to be a positive contributor to this earth. It has been a gift to me by my maker and my care if it will be my gift to him.

Let's be kind to each other and be kind to this land.

Let's take a stand. If we loose the land, what do we have left?

I agree with Lightly....recycle ur household waste.

And get into the habit of turning ur TV'S and satllite boxes off completely instead of leaving them on standby.

And finally try not to leave the tap running whiles brushing ur teeth.. u'll be suprised how much water u'll save by doing that... x x x x

My sister, I am all for living a better life that gives the environment a break. The more I think about environmentalism and Nigeria, the more I realise that the average Nigerian might not be able to conceptualize the issues. After all they have no electricity, no money, some don't even have food....

Anyway, God help Nigerians and Nigeria!

I turn off all the lights when I'm not there... and I recycle (or at least put stuff in the boxes that say recycle when I take my garbage out)... my bit for the environment.
